I was in a gas station earlier today. The conversation was full of stories about the crazy storms we had yesterday. I heard remarks about how they had been at one of the locations that a tornado hit just 20 minutes prior and other stories. Even though much property was damaged, people were hurt, a few lost there lives; this storm has brought excitement to people. “Excitement” you say? Yes. At least that was the tone being said through the retelling of the stories from yesterday.

That leaves me to ask a few questions. Does it really take a severe thunderstorm or something like it for you to get excited about something? Do you wait around for something to “happen” to you or around you to get excited about something in life? If you, like me, are a follower of Christ and you said “yes” to these questions, do you see that there might be something wrong? With Jesus. we must “happen” to this world. That is exciting.
