#D8nite

A few weeks back the wife and I planned to go to the drive-in theater. It had been planned in advance because I was really busy that week getting ready to be gone the next week. Friday arrived and I could of really used the 6 hours that we would spend going to the drive-in to finish my preparations. With time ticking away I had a choice. Actually, I didn’t have a choice.

I made a commitment to my wife. That commitment is not just to the date night at the drive-in. I made a commitment  to be a good husband to her. No choice at all. The work I needed to get done would find a way to get done. It would actually refine my list of things to get finished and the essentials would get done. Some not-so essentials would have to just made do. The love and support of my wife will be there as I push on to my next busy week instead of bitter hurt because I cancelled date night.

No choice, no choice at all.

You did make a choice though. And it was the right one.

I think that u made the right choice. Its like craig & i we choose God 1st & formost then one another. It sounds like 2 me that (like craig & i) God put u 2 2gether. Only deal w/ us is if we have a date night …. we have 2 tag alongs (shalie & matthew) lol. One thing i have learned & that is NEVER take the ones u love or the ones that love u 4 granted ~ i pray the Lord blessed u both in ur walk thru life 2gether.
